With this device, consisting of 20 stainless steel plates, you can cool 30 litres of hot wort to 20°C in 10 to 15 minutes using plain gravity (no extra pump needed). You will not disturb the precipitation of the hot trub and because of the quick cooling, you prevent contaminating your wort. The chiller is easy to use and to clean, the water consumption is limited and the connections are standard. A must-have for the craft brewer who aims to achieve the highest quality.

Hoses are not included. The hose, which is most suitable for conveying hot wort is our silicone hose (see accessories). For cold water, we recommend the PVC hose (see accessories).
Tips:
Use the Brewferm plate wort chiller in an upright position with the wort inlet below to prevent air locked in the heat exchanger.
Thoroughly rinse the Brewferm plate wort chiller in counterflow direction with CHEMIPRO CIP for 10 minutes before and after use.
Do not cover the connections when storing the plate chiller.
When you recirculate your boiling hot wort for 10 minutes without cooling water, your plate wort cooler will also be disinfected by the hot wort, eliminating infection risk.
The outflow temperature of the cooling water should be warm, if the outflowing water is still cold, the flow speed of the cooling water is too high.
If the outflow temperature of the wort is too high, either reduce the flow of the wort or increase the flowrate of the cooling water.
Do not immerse.

Inget att klaga på annat än beskrivningen. Observera att det bara är vatten anslutningen som är 3/4". Vört anslutningen är mindre, gissar 1/2" så det får bli att komplettera med prylar. Annars känns det som en gedigen pryl.
