Hefeweizen Ale WLP300 popular German strain is used in the production of traditional, authentic hefeweizen. It produces a high level of isoamyl acetate, giving the resulting beer notes of banana.

With balanced phenol production, this strain produces notes of clove but remains banana forward. Low flocculation leaves the desired cloudy look, appropriate for the German wheat beer style.

Pitching rate and temperature will dramatically affect the flavor and aroma of this strain. Traditional brewing techniques suggest underpitching to produce more classic characteristics of the style.

BEER STYLES: Wheat Beer

RECOMMENDATION: Yeast starter is recommended for liquid yeasts.

Alcohol Tolerance ABV 10%
Dosage NOTE! This is a general calculation. 1 package PurePitch normally is enough for a 19 liters batch. This is because you often choose yeast that goes with the style of beer you're brewing.
Dosage 20 L Batch: 1.048 OG = 1 package PurePitch, no pre-cultivation.
Dosage 1.050-1.065 OG = 2 package PurePitch or 1 package PurePitch +1 liter pre-cultivation.
Dosage 1.065 OG = 3 package PurePitch or 1 package PurePitch +2 liters pre-cultivation

A: We´re solely an e-commerce shop but you can chose to pick up your order at our storage. A: We usually ship an order within 1-2 business days from our warehouse. If you are in a hurry, choose MM-Express at checkout, then we will send you your order on the same business day if you  have placed your order before 10 a clock CET. We ship our goods with Bring where the shipping time is usually expected to take between 1-2 business days, depending on the options + your order's delivery terms.
